Draft a post for an upcoming holiday that tells a story about someone or something in your district. Include a strong caption, a visual, and appropriate tags. Be sure to use the appropriate brand guidelines including font and color.

Get Certified. Take what you’ve learned about skill building a step further to sharpen your technical prowess. Class Intercom offers two certifications (level one and level two), each requiring approximately 30 minutes to work through the lesson and take a brief online quiz. Complete your certifications by logging into the Class Intercom and clicking the question mark icon in the bottom right corner. Then click “Class Intercom Certification.” Once you’ve completed level one, feel free to scroll to the bottom to find level II.
Module Three
Option 1
Plan a Day in the Life student takeover for social media. Outline the minimum number of posts, the social platform(s) the student will be using as well as the purpose of this event. Include a storyboard of ideas that reflect what the student may include in their takeover as well as what they should avoid. Present the proposal to your teacher.
Module Four
Option 1
Outline a social media campaign to educate students, staff, and/or student caregivers about the basics of social media laws that impact you locally, regionally, and nationally. Be sure to include the why behind your decisions.
Option 2
Draft a post using a showing positive use of social media to impact others. Be sure to include the positive impact made by the student(s) or staff member(s) involved. Include a strong caption, visual representation, and appropriate tags. Also, be sure to use the appropriate brand guidelines including font and color.
Option 3
Draft a post promoting what it means to be a positive digital citizen. Be sure to include a strong caption, visual representation, and appropriate tags. Also, be sure to use the appropriate brand guidelines including font and color.
Module Five
Option 1
Create a LinkedIn profile for your school/district. Connect with local businesses and community leaders. Draft a post that would show that your school/district is a great place to work. Be sure to include a strong caption, visual representation, and appropriate tags. Also, be sure to use the appropriate brand guidelines including font and color.
Option 2
Create a personal LinkedIn profile. Be sure to include why someone would want to hire you. Already have a LinkedIn profile? Do some research and follow or connect with at least people or companies that would be a good fit for your personal brand.
Option 3
Outline a basic plan for involving the community. This could include highlighting community service activities or engaging local businesses in advertising on your social media pages with student-generated graphics and/or video.
