Digital Citizenship in the Classroom: From Legal Challenges to Student Assessment

Social media surrounds today’s students, parents, schools, and communities. It can be an incredible force for good–spreading stories, highlighting accomplishments, and making a huge impact on students and schools. Of course, it can also have a negative impact. Digital citizenship is often the crucial difference. 

In this webinar, former educator and school administrator Dr. Jill Johnson of Class Intercom will host attorneys Bobby Truhe and Karen Haase of KSB School Law for a timely DigCit discussion focusing on social media and its important legal risks and challenges. Bobby and Karen, who specialize in legal challenges impacting schools, will cover the ins and outs of the legal side of being a good digital citizen and school social media specifically.
